There are plenty of reasons for optimism surrounding the Florida State football program.
The Seminoles are 3-0 for the first time since 2015 and are fresh off a hard-fought, back-and-forth affair against Louisville Friday night. Even without starting quarterback Jordan Travis and defensive end Jared Verse — who both went down with injuries in the first half — FSU managed to find a way to rally for another thrilling win.
“I love that we’re sitting here 3-0 and we still haven’t played our best game,” coach Mike Norvell said Monday.
It’s been such a reversal of fortune for the Seminoles, who were 0-4 through the first month of last season before turning things around and winning five of the final eight games.
