File this one under foregone conclusions. In what came as a surprise to absolutely nobody, Florida State redshirt-sophomore forward Mfiondu Kabengele was today named The Atlantic Coast Conference’s Sixth Man of the Year for the 2018-2019 season.
Kabengele (6’10, 25) was a force for the Seminoles, as the only player on a Power-Five team to lead his team in scoring while coming off the bench. A consummate challenge for opposing defenses, “Fi” has been able to employ quicks and athleticism to outmaneuver bigs, while his imposing size and wingspan allow him to work over smaller foes.
