As Florida State begins the men’s basketball season, the Seminoles do so without one of their promising newcomers.
Baba Miller, a 6-foot-11 forward from Spain who was the top-rated prospect of FSU’s 2022 recruiting class, will miss the first 16 games because of a suspension handed down by the NCAA for receiving travel benefits. Initially, the suspension was for an entire season but it was later reduced after an appeal by the school.
According to the Florida State, Miller traveled from Spain to a basketball camp in the United States which was expensed.
