On a day that most Florida State fans would prefer to forget, Seminole running back Khalan Laborn had a moment he’ll always remember.
2017’s top-ranked all-purpose running-back prospect, Laborn redshirted that season with the ’Noles before flashing immediately as a redshirt-freshman a year later. But just as his FSU career was taking off, Laborn was grounded, suffering a season-ending knee injury in 2018’s second game.
After surgery and rehabilitation, Laborn returned as the backup to Cam Akers this season, and on Saturday, he returned to a place he hadn’t been since high school: the end zone.
