After an undefeated regular season a year ago that saw Florida State fall just short of reaching the College Football Playoff, competing for a championship this season already seems like a lost cause.
Quarterback DJ Uiagalelei, who transferred from Oregon State to Florida State this offseason, struggled once against. While he had 272 passing yards and a touchdown, he failed to capitalize several times in the red zone and threw an interception in the third quarter that led to Boston College taking a 21-6 lead.
