The ‘Noles traveled to Niceville on Friday for their 3rd game of the Emerald Coast Classic after blowing out Chattanooga and Chicago State in the first two rounds. FSU took on #17 Tennessee in the semifinal of the early season tournament as the Seminoles and Volunteers faced off for the first time since 1989. Florida State got a fully healthy roster for the first time in a few games as MJ Walker returned to the starting lineup for the first time in two weeks as he missed three games.
FSU got off to a quick start behind its defense as the Vols turned the ball over six times within the first five minutes.
