Florida State tight end Camren McDonald was one of 54 players named to the Mackey Award watch list Friday.
McDonald, a redshirt senior, has appeared in 45 career games during his four seasons with the Seminoles, totaling 53 career catches for 549 yards and four touchdowns. He appeared in all 12 games (11 starts) last season, finishing second on the team in catches (24) and fifth in receiving yards (243) with two touchdowns.
The California native had a career-high 7 catches for 61 yards in FSU’s 41-17 loss to Pittsburgh on Nov. 7, 2020. He also had a career-long 14-yard touchdown in the Seminoles’ 33-30 win over Syracuse last season.
