Saturday Night Update:
Time is running out on the rest of the field, which has been chasing Seminole Brooks Koepka since the beginning of the PGA Championship at Beth Page Black in New York. Koepka led by a stroke after round one and seven shots after round two. Saturday was moving day, when those in pursuit of the lead needed to make a move on Koepka, the event’s defending champion.
But Koepka began Saturday’s play at -12, with his closest pursuers at -5. And that’s exactly where things stand heading into Sunday. Only the names of those tied for second have changed: Dustin Johnson, Luke List, Harold Varner III, and Jazz Janewattananond.
