Sunday Night Update:
Never a doubt, right? It got a rather interesting at Beth Page Black on Sunday, as winds kicked up to 35 MPH, sharpening the teeth of an already vicious course. But FSU’s Brooks Koepka is not easily swayed. His 7-stroke lead shrunk to 1 on the back 9, but Koepka steadied himself and finished strong, repeating as PGA Champion. He finished at -8, two shots ahead of Dustin Johnson.
Koepka’s also the two-time defending US Open champ, making him the only player in golf history to be a back-to-back defending champion of two majors at the same time.
