From soccer to golf, FSU is knee-deep in championship season.
Making a run alongside other spring sports in the postseason has been Florida State’s women’s tennis team, who for the second time in the last three seasons have made it to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
The Jen Hyde-led Seminoles have had fantastic 2021, earning the program’s highest-ever ACC Tournament ranking after an 11-2 conference record in the regular season.
Though the quest for a conference title fell short, FSU’s resume earned it a No. 7 seed and hosting privileges for the first two rounds — along with NCAA Tournament single (Giulia Pairone and Emmanuelle Salas) and double (Nandini Das and Andrea Garcia) selections.
