While the men’s basketball team at FSU found out on Sunday that they were heading back to the NCAA Tournament for the second straight season, the women’s team for the Seminoles waited one more day to find out that they will be heading back to March Madness for the sixth straight season and the 13th time in the last 14 campaigns.
Head coach Sue Semrau and her team, which finished third in the ACC this season with a 25-6 record that included a 12-4 record in conference play, will again be hosting the first two rounds of action after the Lady Noles found out they are the third seed in the Albany Region.
