For the first ten minutes of action this weekend, the FSU women’s basketball team looked like they might get a battle in their NCAA tournament opener inside the friendly home court of the Tucker Center – but then, the second quarter started and the Seminoles coasted to yet another first round win.
Now, head coach Sue Semrau’s team prepares to get back on the court Monday evening against a team that pulled off the March Madness upset in their opening game – which makes the path slightly easier for the Seminoles to get back to the Sweet 16 and continue their road toward a first ever Final Four appearance.
