No. 5 Florida State (23-9) fell to no. 12 Wake Forest (16-15) by a 65-54 score in the second round of the ACC Tournament in Greensboro, NC.

Florida State started out on a 7-0 run that was sparked by an Erin Howard triple. Wake broke the run with a putback from Demeara Hinds. However, FSU responded with five straight points to force Deacon head coach Megan Gebbia to call a timeout. The Seminoles had hit their first five shots to take the 12-2 lead. Wake Forest came out strong after the timeout going on a 7-0 run.
