Florida State women’s basketball head coach Sue Semrau will return to the sidelines in Tallahassee for the 2021-2022 season. Semrau took a year long leave of absence to care for her mother.
Thank You Florida State for granting me the time with my amazing parents. Thank you @CoachBrookeFSU for an outstanding job as HC. Can’t wait to reunite with my team April 1st! pic.twitter.com/pYWQ1aFBAk

In her absence Brooke Wyckoff stepped in as the interim head coach and led the Seminoles to a 10-9 record and a return to the NCAA Tournament in a very challenging season that was disrupted by Covid.
