Enterning the 2018-19 season, the FSU women’s basketball team was one that was not expected to do much this season after losing every single starter from their team who went to the NCAA Tournament last season before being upset at home. For head coach Sue Semrau, it was going to be a year that was going to be the definition of rebuilding according to many.
But, a funny thing happened on the way to the funeral for the Lady Noles – they actually turned out to be a pretty decent team who finished with another 20+ win season and their fifth straight season with double digit wins in the Atlantic Coast Conference, one of the toughest leagues in the country.
