Florida State’s women’s basketball program has been on an upward trajectory in the last few years. This trend is visible using several metrics. In the last four years the Seminoles have finished the season with the following records - year in parentheses: 32-5 (2015), 25-8 (2016), 28-7 (2017) and 26-7 (2018). The final results in the AP poll validated those records as the Seminoles finished ranked 7th, 17th, 10th and 11th. In those same years the Noles have earned the following NCAA Tournament seeds: 2nd, 5th, 3rd and 3rd. In the tournament FSU had the following finishes: Elite Eight, Sweet Sixteen, Elite Eight and Second Round.
