Florida State will open the 2024 football season in Dublin, Ireland, against Georgia Tech as part of the Aer Lingus College Football Classic on Aug. 24.
It will be the fifth college football game played at Aviva Stadium and the first time the Seminoles will play outside of the United States.
“I am so excited for our student-athletes, coaches, staff, administration and fans for this opportunity,” FSU coach Mike Norvell said in a statement Wednesday. “When this idea was first presented to me, I was immediately intrigued by a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the people in our program.
