Florida State football, after releasing their Seminole Heritage uniforms last year, is wearing them on the field for the first time during today’s Spring Showcase — albeit in a limited capacity, with the alternate-look jerseys serving as non-contact indicators rather than teamwide apparel.
An athletics department-wide tradition that has seen multiple teams wear turquoise, Florida State football premiered its version of them in September 2023 — though only the coaching staff wore turquoise-tinged clothing during the program’s first Seminole Heritage game against the Duke Blue Devils last season.
