Casey Roddick spent three seasons at Colorado, establishing himself as one of the dominant interior offensive linemen in the Pac-12. With more than 2,000 career snaps to his name, Roddick could have returned to the Buffaloes knowing he would likely find himself the offense’s anchor.
It was a comfortable spot, but it wouldn’t make the redshirt senior happy.
“Comfort is the biggest thing that holds people back,” said Roddick. “If I were to be comfortable in a situation where I wasn’t necessarily happy, I’ll take the happiness over the comfort.”
To find happiness, Roddick made the difficult choice to leave Colorado.
