For the third time in the last five seasons, Florida State and LSU will meet with a trip to the Women’s College World Series on the line. This time, though, the meeting comes in Baton Rouge with all three games set to air in primetime.
The No. 10 Seminoles enter their eighth consecutive Super Regional appearance fresh off sweeping the Tallahassee regional, outscoring their opponents 11-2 with back-to-back shutout victories over UCF. The clinching victory was a one-hitter from sophomore Kathryn Sandercock in the circle, her eighth complete game of the year.
