FSU softball (54-8) started Sunday’s game like all their games of late, and that’s scoring early and often putting pressure on the opposing team.
The Noles scored three runs in the top of the first as the away team even though they are playing at home (which is dumb).
South Carolina responded with a run in the bottom of the first off FSU pitching ace Meghan King.
However, the Noles responded with two more runs in the top of the second for a 5-1 lead which is usually enough for King to shut the door.
