FSU softball (38-8) is in a slump as they’ve been held scoreless in back-to-back games and lost their last three.
They’ve lost back-to-back ACC Conference series against Louisville and North Carolina and are (2-5) in their last seven games while being shutout twice in that span.
Florida pounded out 10 hits and four runs with FSU’s Makinzy Herzog (6-2) absorbing the loss.
The Noles only managed two hits in the game with both coming by Sydney Sherill, and it was only the second time all season they’ve lost in front of their home crowd.
There were five runners left on base with FSU squandering opportunities as Florida’s pitcher issued three walks on the night.
