FSU softball (54-9) saw its offense come alive in the first game of the Super Regionals against Georgia for an 8-1 victory. The Noles wasted some opportunities early, getting runners on first and third with no outs and not scoring any runs.
They also had some bad luck early, as Katie Dack scorched a line drive that the UGA third base lady snagged for the third out with runners in scoring position. FSU pitching ace Kathryn Sandercock got the win, allowing one earned run on a solo home run in the top of the second inning.
