For the 28th time in history, the Atlantic Coast Conference held their annual post season tournament for the softball teams that play each season – and for the 17th time, the FSU softball team can celebrate being the champions of the whole thing after dominating this weekend’s events in Tallahassee to set a record.
For the seventh straight season, the Seminoles made their way into the championship game of the event – and for a record sixth straight time, it was head coach Lonni Alameda’s team that ended up winning it all with a dominating effort at the plate and behind strong pitching from a group led by Meghan King as the Noles blanked North Carolina 8-0.
