Game Recap

Florida State got off to a dream start. In the first minute Solai Washington stole the ball from Alex Wagner in the attacking third. Washington served the ball into the box where Jordynn Dudley came up with it and fired for goal. Vandy keeper Sara Wojdelko came up with her first huge save of the game denying Dudley with a great two handed reflex save. Jessica Hinton tried to clear the rebound but her clearance went straight to Marianyela Jiménez who slammed a left footed shot past Wojdelko for the first goal of the game.
