For the fourth consecutive season, Florida State Seminoles soccer is headed to the Women’s College Cup.
The Seminoles earned their spot by taking down the Pitt Panthers on Friday, riding a second-half surge to dominate the scoreboard 3-0.
Florida State outshot the Panthers 20-13 (9-5 shots on goal), with FSU goalkeeper Cristina Roque logging five saves on the night.
Taylor Huff broke the scoring open in the 62’ minute by converting a penalty kick brought about by a Pitt handball, with Florida State’s second goal also coming via PK — this time from Leah Pais in the 68’.
