FSU signee Shavar Manuel will head to juco

Shavar Manuel will not enroll at Florida State after all.

The 6-foot-4, 290-pound defensive tackle, who flipped on a commitment to Floirda on National Signing Day this year and signed with FSU, will be headed to Fort Scott (Kan.) Community College. He failed to meet enrollment requirements at FSU, according to 247Sports.com's Josh Newberg.

Manuel, who started his high school career at Tampa Blake, transferred to Bradenton IMG Academy prior to his senior season.

He was one of the most sought after players in the country last year, but he ended much speculation that he would choose Florida three days after the Under Armour All-AMerican Game in Orlando.
