As Hurricane Matthew came up toward the coast of Florida during the middle of last week, the University of Florida made a decision – postpone their game on Saturday against LSU out of safety for fans of the schools traveling to the game. It was a move that was hailed by many – and something people though FSU and Miami should do with their game.
The problem came later in the week, when conditions show the game could have been played on Saturday – or at worst, played on Sunday the same way South Carolina and Georgia played their game just one day after that state was drenched by the storm.
