FSU recruiting received a lot of slack for its performance during the early signing period. The Noles signed 14 players, but had five players that remained committed but unsigned.
Those five players were some of the best of its commits with many questioning if the FSU would keep all five.
The player most felt uneasy about was five-star cornerback Akeem Dent who was being courted by several top programs like Alabama and others.
Dent made a surprise announcement Saturday that he was signing and enrolling early at FSU.
