When Florida State Seminoles football takes the stage in Charlotte later this month for the 2024 ACC Kickoff, one notable player won’t be in attendance.
New quarterback DJ Uiagalelei, who joined the Seminoles after a year at Oregon State and two with the Clemson Tigers, has announced that he’s declining an invite from the ACC to attend with hopes of instead providing a platform to his teammates:
I was honored to be invited by the conference office to represent Florida State at this year’s ACC Kickoff.
