FSU QB McKenzie Milton reportedly set to start vs. N.C. State

Florida State quarterback McKenzie Milton is expected to earn the surprise start against N.C. State on Saturday with Jordan Travis reportedly missing the game with a non-COVID illness.

According to 247Sports, Travis was out after dealing with a strain of influenza that has overwhelmed the campuses of Florida State and Florida A&M. The redshirt sophomore started the last four games for the Seminoles, leading FSU to wins over Syracuse, North Carolina and UMass.

Milton has appeared in the four games this season after arriving as a graduate transfer from UCF. He’s passed for 548 yards with 2 touchdowns and 4 interceptions.
