Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis was among 85 college players on the Maxwell Award watch list.
Travis enters his junior season as FSU’s clear-cut starter after leading the Seminoles to a 5-3 record in 2021. He finished with 1,539 passing yards and 15 touchdowns while rushing for a team-high 530 yards and seven touchdowns last season.
The West Palm native has appeared in 22 career games (14 starts) during his three seasons with the Seminoles, passing for 2,674 yards and 21 touchdowns and he holds the school record for career rushing yards for a quarterback (1,317).
