Florida State quarterback Chubba Purdy has entered his name into the transfer portal with the intent of leaving the program.
“I want to thank the Seminoles fans and Florida State community for all their support during my time at Florida State,” Purdy posted on Twitter. “After careful consideration and a discussion with my family, I will be moving on toward new beginnings. With that said, I will be entering the transfer portal. Thank you and God Bless.”
The redshirt freshman appeared in one game this season in a backup role to starter Jordan Travis. He went 5 for 5 with 98 yards and two touchdowns in FSU’s 59-3 win over UMass on Oct.
