Looking to get back over .500 and win two games in a row for the first time in a month, the Florida State Seminoles men’s basketball team faced off against the Winthrop Eagles in Tallahassee on Friday, December 22.
The matchup, FSU’s second-to-last non-conference game of the regular season, was another sloppy showing from Florida State — especially offensively, where the Seminoles shot just 31% from the floor (17% from three).
The two schools combined for just 49 total points in the first half, with FSU trailing 25-24. Primo Spears, who made his official debut for Florida State earlier this month, led FSU with six total points at the half, with FSU shooting 25% from the floor.
