Florida State coach Mike Norvell and his staff are trusting a new starting quarterback to lead the Seminoles at No. 5 Notre Dame Saturday.
Jordan Travis, a Louisville transfer who helped the Seminoles erase an early deficit during a win over Jackonsville State this past Saturday, was named the FSU starting quarterback.
The effort convinced coaches to make Travis Florida State’s third starting quarterback so far this season.
“I think Jordan has, through that performance and the work that he’s put in, he’s established himself for the start this week,” Norvell said Monday.
“... I’m excited about him being able to assume that role this week.
