Florida State coach Mike Norvell has announced that redshirt sophomore linebacker Stephen Dix Jr. will miss the 2022 season with an undisclosed injury.
The Dr. Phillips product appeared in 21 games (5 starts) during his two seasons with the Seminoles, totaling 59 tackles, including 3.5 tackles for loss. He played in all 12 games last season with 14 tackles and one pass breakup.
“Stephen has been a great player and teammate in regard to the things that he’s had to go through and things he’s had to work [through],” Norvell said. “He’s responded to a lot of adversity that’s shown up over the last couple of years.
