For the second year in a row, Florida State basketball’s Jamir Watkins has entered the transfer portal while also declaring for the NBA Draft.
Watkins averaged 18.4 points per game for the Seminoles this year as well as 5.7 rebounds, earning second-team All-ACC honors.
He announced his intention to enter the NBA Draft on social media, saying:
Thank you, FSU. When I transferred to Florida State, I was looking for an opportunity to grow, to compete, and to be part of something special. What I found was a family.
