After Florida State fired Willie Taggart last Sunday, the attention of most ’Nole fans turned, appropriately, to the search for the Seminoles’ next head coach. But there’s still a season to finish, and a postseason to which FSU hopes to return. Venerable Seminole Odell Haggins assumed the interim head coach position for the second time in three years, and on Saturday against Boston College, he picked up right where he left off in 2017— delivering.
Haggins discussed how players told him “coach, we got your back,” as well as how he placed confidence in offensive coordinator Kendal Briles, telling him, simply, “I support you.
