FSU hoops seed holds in bracketology projection; opponent, region change

ESPN’s bracketologist Joe Lunardi still thinks that Florida State is an elite seed in the 2019 NCAA Tournament, as he has the Seminoles slotted in as a 3-seed for the second straight week.

And while Lunardi still has the ’Noles beginning play in Hartford, it’s no longer in the Midwest region. Instead, he has FSU in the West. The 14-seed against whom Florida State would open play has also changed, switching out Northeastern for UC-Irvine. The Seminoles’ second-round opponent would be the winner of 6-seed Indiana and 11-seed Cincinnati.

Just like last week, though, Lunardi still thinks that the 2-seed matched up with Florida State for a possible Sweet 16 matchup would be Nevada.
