Florida State men’s basketball suffered another devastating loss, this time on the injury front after guard Cam’Ron Fletcher was ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury during Saturday’s loss to Virginia.
Fletcher suffered the injury during the second half of the Seminoles’ 62-57 loss to the Cavaliers at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Va.
The junior appeared in all 10 of FSU’s games, averaging 10.8 points and 7.5 rebounds.
He is one of six scholarship players to miss time this season, including Baba Miller (NCAA suspension), Jaylan Gainey (ACL surgery, out for the season), Chandler Jackson (broken thumb), Jeremiah Bembry (back), Naheem McLeod (ankle) and De’Ante Green (ACL surgery from high school).
