Florida State may be riding a season-high six-game winning streak that has thrust the Seminoles atop the ACC basketball standings, but Leonard Hamilton believes his young team hasn’t reached its full potential.
“This team has potential,” Hamilton said Monday. “We still have a way to go in terms of just growing up and maturing in handling stressful situations. The good thing is that we have won a number of games and we still have a ceiling, and we still have a lot of room for improvement.”
After an up-and-down start that included a 16-day pause due to COVID issues among the team, FSU has settled into a rhythm, winning seven of its last eight games.
