Mike Norvell loves an emotional team, so behind the screaming and intensity, Wednesday’s practice became precisely what Florida State needed: fast, physical, and spirited.
The Seminoles continued preparing for Memphis during another cloudy, drizzly Tallahassee morning. Norvell’s team split time between scout work and competitive team drills, giving the squad an emotional edge they clearly needed after their lackluster performances the last few weeks.
The practice began with a two-minute drill where the defense kept everything in front of them and forced DJ Uiagalelei to send a Hail Mary deep into the end zone in a last-ditch effort to win the morning, which fell incomplete.
