TALLAHASSEE — After watching quarterbacks McKenzie Milton and Jordan Travis receive the majority of workload through the first week of fall camp, Florida State coach Mike Norvell felt it was important to give redshirt freshmen Chubba Purdy and Tate Rodemaker some extended work this week in practice.
Norvell sees it as an opportunity to evaluate the development of his young signal-callers while preparing them for the challenges of the upcoming season.
“We wanted to get a few days here this week to let those young guys show their growth from the scrimmage,” Norvell said after practice Wednesday.
