A little over two calendar years ago, the FSU football team announced that they were effectively selling their game against Boise State as part of a home and home series from being played inside Doak Campbell Stadium in 2019 to Jacksonville – where the game was moved to the season opener and the 2020 game in Idaho remained as scheduled.
We’ll get to more about that second part in a moment, but it’s a game that has had some fans of the Seminoles complaining about being moved from Tallahassee while the return trip remains scheduled. It also has some people wondering how far it is for the Broncos to be playing a neutral site game that is less than 170 miles from the campus of their opponent.
