The hype for FSU football was at an all time high the week of the spring game in 2018. A record 60,000 fans showed up.
A host of former players came back to support the program and some of the most high-profile recruits in the nation were in Tallahassee.
It was an amazing job by the staff to get so many high-profile recruits on campus considering they were behind because of having to finish out the 2018 class at the last-minute due to the old staff shenanigans.
That weekend yielded commitments from four-star linebacker Jaleel McRae, four-star offensive guard Dontae Lucas, three-star wide receiver Maurice Goolsby and another blue chip player that didn’t make it into the class and will remain nameless.
