FSU football was awful on offense in 2018 and went out and hired one of the best offensive coordinators in the nation in Kendal Briles.
Briles wanted his own offensive line coach and the Noles ponied up the money and got Randy Clements on board to help turn things around offensively.
Both have a proven track record at multiple places in installing and improving offenses in a hurry.
It looked like it was the right move after one quarter of football with the FSU offense looking like one of the best offensive units in the nation and Boise State.
