Florida State received a verbal commitment from Shorter tight end Kyle Morlock.
Morlock, who is the No. 20 overall player in the NCAA transfer portal according to 247Sports, announced his decision on social media Thursday.
The Union County (Ga.) High product signed with Shorter University, a Division II program, as part of their 2020 recruiting class. He appeared in 24 games, amassing 890 receiving yards on 57 catches with 11 touchdowns in his career.
He becomes the third transfer to verbally commit to the Seminoles, joining defensive lineman Darrell Jackson (Miami) and tight end Jaheim Bell (South Carolina).
