Florida State safety Travis Jay has decided to enter the transfer portal after spending four seasons with the team.
He made this announcement on Twitter on a Saturday afternoon and was no longer on FSU’s roster. The redshirt junior played in 16 games during his time with the Seminoles, totaling 43 tackles with 3 interceptions, 7 passes defended and a forced fumble.
Jay was a two-way varsity starter at Madison County where he played quarterback and cornerback, earning a 4-star ranking being a top 20 cornerback in the country. He signed with FSU as part of its 2019 recruiting class under then-coach Willie Taggart.
