Florida State has lost another linebacker to the transfer market after Stephen Dix Jr. announced he was entering the portal after three seasons with the Seminoles.
Dix joins Brendan Gant, who entered the portal this week after four seasons in Tallahassee.
The redshirt junior from Dr. Phillips High announced his decision on Twitter Wednesday afternoon: “Thank you Florida State for everything I will be entering the transfer portal with 3 years of eligibility left.”
Dix appeared in 21 games (5 starts), totaling 59 tackles, including 3.5 tackles for loss and a pass defended.
