To say that it wasn’t a banner season for the FSU football offense would be an understatement for a unit that finished the season ranked 102nd in total offense and 127th when it came to the run game – which made it even more surprising when the Seminoles’ offensive coordinator, Walt Bell, was offered the head coaching job at UMass.
So, after one season in Tallahassee, Bell is somehow now the leader of a FBS college team and the Noles are in the market for a new leader on that side of the ball – someone who will likely be calling the plays against after head coach Willie Taggart gave up those duties more than midway through the season.
